We work with a few venues in Herefordshire where we are lucky enough to house the tipis, each different in their own unique way.
We truly believe once you have visited these magically enchanting venues you’ll fall in love as much we did on our first visit.
Pauntley Court
Hereford
We have teamed up with Melissa at Pauntley Court and have a variety of options for you to site your tipis.
Pauntley Court, the birth place of Dick Whittington (1352), is a beautiful, romantic family home offering you a private and unique historic venue, perfect for any wedding or special family celebration.
Situated in Gloucestershire on the Worcestershire and Herefordshire borders, the Pauntley Court estate has a beautiful Norman Church on site. It is a magical setting with stunning formal gardens and far reaching views from the haha down to the lake and the River Leadon Valley beyond, perfect for an intimate wedding of up to 40, or a tipi reception for up to 150 guests.
You may house the tipis close to the house with a breath-taking view of the lake and beyond, or you may choose to house your tipi down by the lake. Either way, a truly enchanting setting.
Broadfield Court
Hereford
We have teamed up with Helen & John, Francis and Alex at Broadfield Court and aim to provide a bespoke package that is totally unique to you
Broadfield is an historic country house and wedding venue set in beautiful gardens and grounds, nestled at the end of a long drive
With it’s far reaching views, beautiful gardens and elegant interiors, Broadfield is one of the most special wedding venues in Herefordshire. Couples looking for an idyllic place to marry have several options.
For larger weddings, wedding breakfasts and evening receptions can be hosted in a tipi or marquee on Broadfield’s lawns or in our fold yard. JAVA Tipis will create the most beautiful space for your celebrations. Broadfield bar will be included in your hire of the venue, or we are able to serve from a bar inside your tipi or marquee. Your guests will be able to use Broadfield’s gardens as they wish, whether taking a stroll through our quintessential kitchen garden, playing croquet on the charming lawns or stopping for pictures in the beautiful rose garden, it’s all there for them to enjoy.
For smaller weddings, Broadfield’s reception rooms can be used for your wedding breakfast and evening reception, with space also available for a temporary indoor bar. Whatever you choose to do, Broadfield is completely yours.
White Heron Properties
Kington
For tipi weddings, The Sherriffs is perfect. This property sleeps 18 and you can erect a tipi on the beautifully manicured lawns. Again, our little black book will come in handy to help you plan your special day.
If you were to take the whole estate all of the properties combined can sleep 61 guests!
The cost of the various properties can be passed on to your guests and if you were to hire all of the properties it would include the use of the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and squash court.
At White Heron, Prestige Bars & Event Management operate the mobile bar and will be onsite which comes as part of the package…. at no extra cost to you.
If you book The Sherriffs, this includes the event management and co-ordination on the day through to the clear up of the site. We will work with you on budgets, itineraries, assist in which suppliers would be best suited for you, and all the while taking the stress away from you at NO EXTRA COST.
Dragons Gate
Garway
If you are looking for that enchanting tipi festival vibe, why not pop over and have a look at Dragons Gate in Garway.
We have the pleasure of working with Cheryl & Bill who hire out their site for this kind of vibe. I’m talking tipis near the lake, a backdrop of the stunning Black Mountains, firepits, a few cabins that sleep 2 in each one and why not add a Bell Tent village. Your guests can pay for each tent that sleeps up to 8 with beds!
Dragons Gate allows you the freedom to create your day, your way and with our help, we can make that dream become a reality.
Much in the same way as we work for private weddings, we can provide the tipis, bar and full event management. With both the tipis and the mobile bar, come the event management/wedding planning, staffing and event co-ordinator who will be with you from the early days and be the last to leave the site, FREE OF CHARGE.
Within that, we point you towards the best suppliers and have been working closely with a few of our favoured suppliers to come up with a ‘guide price’ that includes the tipis, generator, toilets, welcome drink, table wine, photographer, catering (daytime & evening) florist, bar and a full event management/wedding planning service. This is a flexible price and in no way, a fixed package price. It’s about showing you where you can be flexible in your budget, where you can save whilst sharing our wedding hack secrets with you.

English Country Wedding
Yarkhill Hereford
Not Just A Field......but a Magical Meadow with a stunning outlook and view.
Picture this, a meadow opposite a beautiful, stone church in Yarkhill, Hereford. Purpose-built, beautifully crafted lychgate opposite the church entrance which provides a fantastic setting for photos and can be decorated for your day.
A wild flower meadow as a backdrop to the tipis, alpacas roaming, firepits toasting.
Our meadow is situated opposite St John The Baptist Church, Yarkhill, in the valley of the River Frome and lies in between Ledbury and Hereford with easy access for both guests and suppliers.
Quiet, little known and off the beaten track, the meadow has unspoiled views of open countryside and overlooks a Medieval Moat and wild flower field. It is far from being just another farm field but is carefully manicured and kept looking beautiful for you throughout the summer months. There is a small bothy which can be used as a separate bar and chill out zone.
You need to see it to believe it!

Cuckhorn Estate
Hereford
Cuckhorn Estate is a wedding and events venue set in the beautiful Hopshires of Stoke Lacy, Herefordshire. The venue is equipped with Tudor-style hall, barn, ponds and beautifully established gardens for you to wander and find the perfect locations for some amazing photo opportunities and you get to decide where you would like your tipi set up.
Cuckhorn Estate is perfect for bespoke gatherings, weddings and intimate family celebrations. The venue itself has so much to offer in the way of space for your wedding with a garden equipped with a stunning pergola for a blessing.
There is an open agricultural barn where the tipis can be housed next to. You may choose to dress this area up as a bar or chill out area, it could even be used for your caterers to save you the cost of a catering tent, or why not use it for a breakfast or brunch after sleeping under the stars under canvas in a Bell Tent Village.
At the opposite end of the tipi site is an amazing area equipped with log seating and a large firepit where you can toast marshmallows and watch the sun go down.
There is a beautiful Tudor barn available should you wish to host your welcome drinks and canapes or even use this as a chillout area for those who want to have a bit of quiet time.
The possibilities for your bespoke wedding or event is endless and we at JAVA Tipis, are here to help you create your perfect day. Alternatively, if you LOVE a tipi as much as we do but do not want the expense of a venue, have you thought about hiring a village hall that allows you to have a tipi/marquee on the grounds?
This way you can hire a village hall for minimal costs, have a ‘WOW’ factor wedding, and it also eliminates the costs of generators, outside toilets and catering facilities.
We love watching guests arrive at a tipi wedding when they think they are attending a village hall! Again, if you were to have a mobile bar with our sister company, the event management and wedding co-ordination is included free of charge.
