Tipis in the gardens of a diversified working farm in Herefordshire, with old trees, open fields and the red brick farmhouse as your backdrop. Our home venue, run by the Java Tipis team from first visit to last dance.
A farm wedding, done properly
Winsley Park Farm is set in the picturesque village of Hope under Dinmore in Herefordshire. With views of the famous Black Mountains and the Malvern Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you couldn't be positioned in a more breathtaking spot.
The farm dates back to the 16th century and was a dairy farm for many years under the Legge family. Today, its adjoining fields are used mostly for arable farming.
Because Winsley Park Farm is our home venue, there's no juggling between a venue coordinator and a marquee company. The same Java Tipis team plans your day, builds your tipis, styles them and looks after you on the day.

Swap the city for the perfect countryside wedding
Dreaming of rolling Herefordshire hills, wildflower meadows and a sky full of stars instead of another hotel ballroom? Winsley Park Farm is around three hours from London, close enough for a long weekend and far enough to feel a world away. Your guests arrive for a wedding and leave having had a weekend in the countryside.
A whole weekend, not just a day
Stay on the farm with your nearest and dearest (the house sleeps 14 from April 2027), with lazy breakfasts, lakeside walks and the party right outside the door.
Space you won't find in the city
Up to 200 guests, two lakes, a whomping willow and acres of farmland, all exclusively yours. No neighbours, no rushing out the door.
Planned from wherever you live
You don't need to be local. Martha, Katie or Laura plan your day with you on calls and visits, and handle everything on the ground in Herefordshire.

Marry wherever you choose at Winsley, out in the gardens or under canvas if the weather isn't being kind. You can also add a Java tipi ceremony canopy.
Drinks on the lawn
Enjoy drinks on the lawn or under canvas, with lawn games to entertain your guests. There are so many photo opportunities, but some of our favourites are by the lakes and the whomping willow.
Wedding breakfast
Long trestle tables or round tables in linked tipis, dressed with up to 10 complimentary décor items per table.
Evening party
Festoons, firepits and our handmade bars, with the tipis glowing across the farm after dark.

Exclusive use of the house and gardens from Friday to Sunday, sleeping 14 from April 2027, with a full 2 tipi set up for 80 guests. Includes the dancefloor, lighting, matting, furniture and bar.
Please note. You'll also need toilets and a generator, at a combined cost of around £1,700 for both, which Java can organise for you.

A night out under canvas
As the sun goes down over Winsley Park Farm, our tipis glow to life. Fairy lit poles, firepits crackling, the smell of a hog roast drifting across the lawn, a live band getting everyone on their feet and fireworks to finish. This is a real evening with Java tipis, and everyone is invited.
Your ticket includes a hog roast, a glass of fizz or a bottle of beer, the band and the fireworks.

Can we get married on the farm?
Yes. Ceremonies at Winsley are currently celebrant led, so you can marry wherever you choose on the farm, or under canvas if the weather isn't great. You can also add a Java tipi ceremony canopy. For now, you'll need to register your legal marriage elsewhere beforehand. A marriage licence for Winsley is on the cards for the future, with a date yet to be confirmed.
Can guests stay overnight?
Winsley Park Farm will sleep up to 14 guests in the house from April 2027. Guests not staying in the house are welcome to create a bell tent village or camp over. Campers don't have access to the house facilities, so we advise hiring in a shower block.
Can we bring our own caterer and suppliers?
You're never tied to anyone we recommend, but we're happy to point you to suppliers who know the farm and share any discounts we receive.
What if the weather turns?
We can add panoramic panels and doors to the tipis right up until loading day, so you can decide once the forecast is clearer.
